Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) guidelines :

If an applicant while applying for PCC is providing the details which are different to details available in the passport already held by him/her, he/she should first apply for re-issue of passport with changed/current particulars as provided in PCC application form. A fresh police verification report would be generated.

Only after re-issue of passport with changed/existing particulars, PCC application against such reissued passport will be processed further for the issue of PCC.
