Discontinuation of Services of Authorized Service Provider M/s VFS Global for CPV Services at Durban

The engagement of the authorised Consular Outsourcing Service Provider M/s VFS Global will come to an end with effect from 31st January 2026, as per the existing contractual arrangement.

1. Accordingly, the Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) operated by M/s VFS Global, located at 4 Linden Road, Essenwood, Durban, 4001, will not accept any applications (in person as well as postal) after 29th January 2026.
2. All applications relating to Passport, Visa, OCI, Surrender Certificate, Attestation and other Miscellaneous Consular Services will be accepted directly by the Consulate General of India, Durban located at 1 Kingsmead Boulevard (2nd Floor), Kingsmead Office Park, Durban 4001, from 30th January 2026 onwards, in person from 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs on every working day.
3. Temporary Suspension of Postal Services: The Consulate, for the time being, will not accept CPV applications by courier, nor will it dispatch passports, OCI cards, or attested documents by post, until further notice.
4. Kindly note that only debit/credit cards or online payments are accepted at the counter of the Consulate. Details of the applicable fees are available on the Consulate’s website under the Consular Services section.
